Wallace University of the Pacific alumna Wallace Yovetich graduated from the Stockton, California institution with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.

A committed educator most recently employed by Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool as its Lead Teacher of the middle-aged classroom, Wallace Yovetich engaged with all levels of staff members and forged strong relationships with the children in her classes to ensure her students received the attention and instruction they needed to thrive. Wallace Yovetich met with parents, administrators, and special education consultants on a routine basis to discuss her students’ development; prepared portfolios outlining individuals’ progress; and drafted and conducted lessons for the eldest and middle-aged students. Involved in other Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool processes and activities, Wallace Yovetich supervised and mentored fellow teachers, served on the hiring committee, oversaw behavioral therapists working in her classroom, assisted and taught in Mommy and Me classes, and provided her services as a substitute in all classes. She joined Bel Air Presbyterian by way of Our Lady of Fatima School, for which she taught various sixth, seventh, and eighth grade subjects and served as Director of the Yearbook, Assistant Coach of Decathlon, and Head Coach of the Geography section. Previously on staff at McKinley Elementary School, Wallace Yovetich served as a second and third grade CREST (Childhood, Recreation, Education, Sports, Together) teacher, leading and supervising enrichment programs. Preceding her position with McKinley Elementary, she acted as a long-term substitute teacher for two second grade classrooms at Rowland Elementary School. She led lessons across multiple subjects and prepared students for state standardized testing. She joined Rowland as a student teacher of a second and third grade combination class. Wallace Yovetich acquired her Multiple Subject Credential from Azusa Pacific University and earned Early Childhood Education Units from Santa Monica College. During her program at Azusa Pacific, she served as a student teacher in a third grade class at Merwin Elementary School, observing, assisting with, and preparing lessons. Participating in a variety of professional organizations, Wallace Yovetich belongs to the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance (NAREA), the California Teachers Association, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
